Warner Bros. Pictures released a new “Wonder Woman” trailer today, focusing on the origins of the popular Amazon princess. The film won’t be hitting theaters until June, but you can get a look at the film and the popular cast with the new trailer.

This new DC film was directed by Patty Jenkins, working off a screenplay written by Allan Heinberg. The screenplay is an adaptation of the story written by Zack Snyder. Among the many stars set to make an appearance in the film are Gal Gadot, Chris Pine and Robin Wright.

The film focuses on Diana, princess of the Amazons, who we all know as Wonder Woman. In the clip you can watch the early days of Diana’s training, as she prepares herself to battle anyone who threatens her people. The story picks up when an American pilot crashes on the remote island Diana calls home, and he tells her of the current war he is fighting. Diana takes it upon herself to help the pilot, leaving her home to end the war. You can check out all the action, training, gauntlets and magic in the trailer below, or on Warner Bros. official YouTube channel.

This isn’t the first trailer that Warner Bros. Pictures has released for the film, though it does show a lot of new scenes. Gal Gadot first played the role of Wonder Woman in the film “Batman v Superman” in 2016. That DC installment was directed by Zack Snyder, and featured Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Amy Adams. The Batman v Superfilm wasn’t exactly loved by critics, but the film did make over $330M domestically. The film then went on to gross over $873M worldwide. Most DC fans are probably hoping for better reviews with Wonder Woman, which offers a new behind-the-camera team.

Fans can set a reminder for June 2, 2017, that’s when “Wonder Woman” will release in theaters.
