Marvel fans got a special trailer for the new “Iron Fist” series today, filled with punches and powers. Netflix released the trailer for season 1 of “Iron Fist” over social-media today, offering another look at the new Marvel installment. The popular streaming-service has released a few teasers in the past, this one shows some of the special-effects and powers that will be featured in the action-thriller series. “Marvel’s Iron Fist” is one of four series that were launched on Netflix in cooperation with Marvel. The four series, including “Marvel’s Iron Fist,” were designed to a precursor to “The Defenders” which will unite the storylines and heroes. The other series included in that conglomerate are “Marvel’s Jessica Jones,” “Marvel’s Daredevil” and “Marvel’s Luke Cage”. One of the surprise standouts over the launch of these three shows was “The Punisher” character, portrayed by Jon Bernthal. The character was heavily featured in “Marvel’s Daredevil” season 2, and was so popular that he will now have his own spinoff series on Netflix.

The story in “Marvel’s Iron Fist” picks up fifteen years after Billionaire Danny Rand (Finn Jones) was presumed dead in a plane crash. Rand mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family‚Äôs legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist. All three of the previously launched Marvel series have been an amazing success for Netflix. “Marvel’s Iron Fist” comes from creator Scott Buck and will star Jessica Henwick, Finn Jones and Jessica Stroup. “Marvel’s Iron Fist” is set to premiere on March 17, 2017 exclusively on Netflix. As with previous Marvel installments, you will get to stream the entire season as fast as you can binge it, and it should be available in 4K if you have the right plan and equipment.
