IFC Films released a trailer for Kristen Stewart’s “Personal Shopper” this weekend, the trailer was released just as Stewart was on her way to Saturday Night Live to host for the evening. The film, which has been traveling the film-festival circuit for some time now, will finally release in theaters later next month. Fans can watch the trailer below.
The film revolves around a ghost story that takes place in the fashion underworld of Paris. The film was written and directed by Olivier Assayas, and also features Lars Eidinger and Sigrid Bouaziz. Stewart recently starred in “Cafe Society,” the latest Woody Allen film, along with Jesse Eisenberg, Steve Carell and Blake Lively. Stewart is also set to play Bridget Sullivan in “Lizzie,” a film retelling the story of Lizzie Borden. The title role of that film will be played by Chloë Sevigny. The story will focus on the young ax-murderer from Massachusetts, and more information on that project will be announced over the next few months. “Lizzie” was directed by Craig William Macneill, working from a script written by Bryce Kass, and is set to release in 2017.
