Bioware has released a new cinematic-trailer for “Mass Effect: Andromeda,” the next installment in the popular “Mass Effect” franchise releasing this spring.
The new trailer is full of clues about the game’s story, including possible love-interests, villains, alien life, and much more. In fact, EA and BioWare revealed two new videos for the game, with the cinematic trailer offering a glimpse at Pathfinder Ryder’s squadmates and allies in their search for humanity’s new home. The publisher teases, “The explorers find a little more than they bargained for, however, as the dangerous Kett Archon demonstrates that the uncharted Andromeda galaxy is also full of new perils and threats.” Fans can watch the cinematic trailer that was released today below, or on the official YouTube channel.
There is also a new Andromeda Initiative briefing video, designed to introduce players to leading members of the human Pathfinder team on Ark Hyperion. The cast includes Pathfinder Alec Ryder, his children Scott and Sarah Ryder, Crisis Responder Liam Kosta and Operations Specialist Cora Harper. This is the crew that will help you lead humanity into the unknown Andromeda Galaxy. The initiative has been a key-marketing point for EA as the publisher teases the game before its big launch. The company has released several trailers and teases for the game at this point, showing off the beautiful 4K landscape and new graphics engine that will be powering the new installment.
The game is available for pre-orders through authorized retailers like Amazon.com. If you pre-order the game you can grab extra content like the Deep Space Explorer Armor, and a Multiplayer Booster Pack. The game is easily one of the most anticipated titles of 2017, and luckily for fans, isn’t too far off at this point.
Mass Effect Andromeda is set to release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One starting on March 21, 2017.
