Open Road Films released a new trailer for Zoey Deutch’s “Before I Fall,” as a teaser before the film’s big debut at the Sundance Film Festival. The film will surely be one of the more popular installments at this year’s event, and certainly one you should keep on your radar.
“Before I Fall” is an official selection of the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, and it will hold its big world-premiere screening this Saturday, January 21, 2017. The film is based on the best-selling novel by Lauren Oliver, and if you haven’t read the novel yet, you can grab a copy on sites like Amazon before the film’s theatrical release. The film-adaptation was directed by Ry Russo-Young and stars Zoey Deutch, Haltson Sage, and Kian Lawley. The film will hit theaters this spring, but you can watch the official Sundance trailer below thanks to an early-afternoon upload from the Studio’s YouTube channel.
The studio teased the film by asking, “What if you had only one day to change absolutely everything?” In the film Samantha Kingston has everything a young woman could ask for, she has terrific friends, a lovely special-someone in her life, and the whole world in-front of her. Then, everything changes.
After one fateful night, Sam wakes up with no future at all. Trapped reliving the same day over and over, she begins to question just how perfect her life really was. As she begins to untangle the mystery of a life suddenly derailed, she must also unwind the secrets of the people closest to her, and discover the power of a single day to make a difference, not just in her own life, but in the lives of those around her–before she runs out of time for good.
Also featured in the film are Elena Kampouris, Cynthy Wu, Medalion Rahimi, Diego Boneta and Jennifer Beals. As we mentioned earlier the film was directed by Ry Russo-Young, the screenplay for the adaptation was written by Maria Maggenti.
The thriller will hit theaters on March 3, 2017.
