You might remember Sam Worthington from his role as Jack Sully in “Avatar,” the 2009 hit. Worthington is expected to reprise his role in the many planned sequel of the film. Disney is currently working on a gigantic Avatar-themed expansion to its park, which may lead to a confirmation on any of the planned follow-ups. Right now “Avatar 2,” “Avatar 3,” and “Avatar 4” are all stuck in pre-production, with dates ranging from 2018 through 2022. Octavia Spencer is currently riding high on her hit drama “Hidden Figures,” where she plays Dorothy Vaughan. The film is currently number-one at the box-office, having ousted Disney’s “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” from the top-spot. The drama has now earned over $32.40M domestically.
