There will be a new character to find in “Final Fantasy Brave Exvius,” and she’s a bit of a diva. The free-to-play Final Fantasy mobile game surprised fans this month announcing that recording artist and actress Ariana Grande will lend her likeness to the hit RPG. As part of this collaboration, Ariana’s hit song “Touch It” will be arranged as a FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS-style remix. Square Enix did announce a few details, but said that more about the collaboration will be revealed in the middle of January.

During the announcement, Square Enix also announced that the game has surpassed nine million downloads outside of Japan. To celebrate this special milestone, for a limited time, players will receive a significant boost in daily log-in bonuses. The game is available in six languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Chinese (traditional) and Korean.

If you’re new to the FINAL FANTASY Portal App, it’s a free download at your favorite iOS or Android App Store. The application provides the latest on all things FINAL FANTASY, so fans will never miss a new promotion or release. The portal also offers exclusive promotional trailers and developer commentary for the dozens of new titles and expansions that the devs are working on. By logging in with their Square Enix account, players can accumulate points that can be exchanged for various items. Also, the iconic Triple Triad card game from FINAL FANTASY VIII makes its mobile debut, and is playable in the app.

Fans of Ariana Grande probably saw her last in the NBC LIVE rendition of “Hairspray,” where she played the role of Penny Pingleton. Her work can also be found on the newly released “Sing” soundtrack, that film was directed by Christophe Lourdelet and Garth Jennings. The animated hit stars Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane and Scarlett Johansson.
