“Pretty Little Liars” live on in new Episode App
The show may be ending, but the story is not
Freeform is bringing “Pretty Little Liars” to a close this year, but that doesn’t mean fans have to say goodbye to their favorite characters. Episode, the world’s largest platform for interactive mobile stories, officially announced the launch of Pretty Little Liars.
With the hit TV show airing its final season in 2017, Episode’s Pretty Little Liars gives fans the ultimate opportunity to continue following their favorite characters from the show. Pretty Little Liars is currently live on the Episode app, which is available on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and on Google Play for Android devices. It is a choice-driven story where the user can pick various paths throughout, which impact the story’s progression.
Pretty Little Liars on Episode puts fans in the center of a new storyline set during the first season of “Pretty Little Liars.” The story returns to Rosewood, Pennsylvania with all the key characters — Aria, Hanna, Spencer, Emily, and the mysterious “A” — with plenty of new twists and turns for veteran viewers and newcomers alike. As with all Episode stories, the choices that are made by the user affect how the plot unfolds.
“Episode is the best place in the world for great mobile stories, and ‘Pretty Little Liars’ is one of the most memorable shows of this generation,” said Michael Dawson, Episode’s head of studio. “It made perfect sense for Pretty Little Liars to come to Episode, and we’re thrilled to give people a unique new way to explore the mysteries of Rosewood.”
Episode’s Pretty Little Liars was developed through a partnership with Episode, Warner Horizon Television and the show’s creative team, and was licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of Warner Horizon Television.
Episode has previously created stories featuring “MEAN GIRLS” and Demi Lovato. At over 2.25 billion episodes viewed across 37,000 stories, Episode is the world’s largest destination for interactive mobile stories.
