A naked Gigi Hadid is a surefire way to kickoff a spring marketing campaign, but let’s face it, Gigi Hadid hasn’t had any qualms about stripping down for the right brand in the past. The beautiful model’s latest ads for Stuart Weitzman are sure to grab everyone’s attention, and they will be hitting screens and billboards around the globe in just a couple of weeks. Hadid will be sharing the spotlight in the upcoming Stuart Weitzman spring 2017 advertising campaign, which feature Gigi Hadid in ultra-relaxed portraits wearing Weitzman’s new line.
Shot again by renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino, the stunning black-and-white images “embrace a distinctively minimalist aesthetic,” according to the brand, while still showcasing the brand’s essential silhouettes for the season.
The company said in the announcement, “In the world of Stuart Weitzman, “sexy” means being comfortable and confident in your own skin, and the campaign captures this essence in an effortless chic way.” The brand went on to say, “A soft femininity is celebrated within each image, and none is more impactful than the mid-calf Clinger bootie, which is photographed elegantly on Gigi Hadid in the nude in its new satin material. Meanwhile, a glamorous nod to American style emerges with the statement-making, embellished Décor sneaker.” Both Clinger and Décor are available for pre-order online.
Fans of Hadid will start seeing the ads internationally, the ads are set to launch in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
This isn’t Hadid’s first campaign with Weitzman, the model worked with the brand this past fall. Hadid was the focal-point for the 2016 “Gigi Boot,” a hiker-inspired high heel combat bootie that was co-designed by the popular supermodel. The model also starred in a short film directed by James Franco titled #doitright. The social-media campaign helped to kick off the Gigi Boot’s global retail debut on the company’s website.
