Nintendo is offering a rare Black Friday promotion this year, offering discounted titles and new promos for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Starting today, select Nintendo 3DS and Wii U video games will be available at up to 50% off on the Nintendo eShop. Nintendo is also highlighting some great games created by indie developers, so be sure to stock-up.
“As people go on the hunt for great deals this weekend, we want them to remember all the high-quality games they can download without ever leaving home,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “From Triple-A titles to indie games, Nintendo eShop has something for everyone.”
Some of the games featured in the sale are Hyrule Warriors Legends, the popular Fire Emblem Awakening, Monster Hunter Generations, Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, Inti Creates, SteamWorld and Heist.
If you are looking for Wii U games you can save on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, Super Mario Galaxy 2, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Fast Racing NEO, and Super Meat Boy.
As we reported earlier this month, Nintendo will also be offering a special Black Friday promotion on the Nintendo 3DS. The company confirmed that it will be offering a special Nintendo 3DS bundle for just $99.99 starting on Black Friday. The bundle will come in two special-edition models – one black, one white, both featuring Mushroom Kingdom characters and imagery. The device will be available starting Nov. 25.
If the Mushroom Kingdom doesn’t fit your style, you can check out the dozen of bundles and special editions that the Nintendo 3DS is being offered in on authorized retailers like Amazon.com.
