Microsoft Black Friday Deals focus on Surface and Xbox One S

Microsoft’s Black Friday Deals will be going strong throughout the day today, but there are few high-profile items that you might want to put at the top of your list before they are gone. The deals will be offered at Microsoft Store locations across the country, and more will be offered on the official storefront online.

The two big-ticket items that Microsoft is pushing this holiday season are the Xbox One S gaming console, and the ultra-portable Microsoft Surface. Both devices come in several different variants, but all of the options will be marked down today through Cyber Monday. All of the pre-announced deals will go live on the site at 12:01am ET on Black Friday, but of course stock will be limited.

If you are looking to pick-up the Surface Pro 4 this year, then you will have two main options to choose from. Both Black Friday options offer the same Intel Core i5 Processor, but there are a few minor differences in the models and prices. The first option is the Surface Pro 4 with a 256GB SSD which comes with the popular Type Cover, you can grab that model today for $999 (normally $1,428). The second Black Friday option is the Surface Pro 4 128GB SSD model for $799 (normally $999). You can also compare your options and go with the new Surface Book, which offers the same Intel Core i5 CPU. The Surface Book Black Friday model offers a 128GB SDD and will be marked down to $1,499 this weekend (normally $1,899).

If you are shopping for an Xbox One or Xbox One S, the sales are pretty straightforward across all retailers. Amazon, Best Buy and other major retailers are all offering the Xbox One S models at $50 off, the final price just depends on which bundle you choose. The only real exclusive that Microsoft is offering for the Xbox One S is the standalone model, which will be $50 off and come with a free game and a $25 gift-card. The most popular options, like the “Xbox One S Battlefield 1 bundle,” and the “Xbox One S Gears of War” bundle, are both being offered for $50 off at other major retailers, so just go with your favorite outlet. Microsoft will be holding a sale on Xbox One wireless controllers, so if you need to grab one you can pick one up for just $39 today, which is a savings of about $20. There will also be a few big-titles on sale for the rest of the weekend on the Xbox Digital store, but sales are pretty close to what you will find at other retailers if you shop around. If you are shopping through the digital storefront, you can grab hits like Battlefield 1, FIFA 17, Titanfall 2, and Overwatch up to 40% off for a limited time.

Throughout the day Microsoft will also be offering a Dell Inspiron 15 (with Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, and 1TB HDD) for $399, so you can save $400 on that deal. If you rather go the full-gaming route, the Alienware 15 Touch (with an Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, and the GeForce GTX 970M) will sell for $1,497 (normally $2,499).
