CW sets premiere dates for “Riverdale,” as “Supernatural” moves to a new night

The mid-season premieres are set for the CW, but your favorite show might be moving to a new night and time. The CW confirmed the network’s midseason schedule, including the series premiere of the highly-anticipated new drama “Riverdale”, and the returns of “The 100,” “Reign”, “The Originals” and “iZombie”. There are a lot of changes happening throughout the season to introduce the new shows.

If you are a fan of “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” that show will be moving to Tuesday nights starting on January 24th. The show will air at 9pm, following CW’s number-one hit “The Flash” at 8pm.

“Supernatural” will be on Thursdays at a new 8pm time-slot, the series will return on January 26, 2017. The CW is hoping that the popularity of “Supernatural” will allow it to be the perfect lead-in for the series debut of the new drama “Riverdale,” which will begin at 9pm. So you can tune-in for “Supernatural” and stick around for the big premiere of “Riverdale”.  The show is a subversive take based on the iconic characters from Archie Comics.

Later on this winter, on February 1st to be exact, the CW’s hit series “The 100” will return on Wednesday at 9pm. “Arrow” will be the lead-in for that show, and will start at 8pm.

“Reign” is coming back for its fourth-season on Friday, February 10th at 9pm, and Tte final season of “The Vampire Diaries” will begin on Friday, March 10, 2017. The popular sci-fi series latest eight seasons, but will end this winter.

Fans of “The Originals” will want to catch the premiere on Friday, March 17 at 8pm, and the season finale of “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” is set for Tuesday, March 28, 2017.

IZOMBIE will make its season three debut with back-to-back new episodes on Tuesday, April 4 at 8pm, it will then move to its regularly scheduled time period after “The Flash” on April 11.

The season finale of “No Tomorrow” will air Tuesday, January 17 at 9pm, with the season finale of “Frequency” set for the following week Wednesday, January 25 at 9pm.

Finally, “Crazy EX-Girlfriend” will conclude its second-season run Friday, February 3 at 9pm. (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT).
