“A Cure for Wellness” trailer warns of the sickness in all of us

This week 20th Century Fox released the first official trailer for ‘A Cure For Wellness,’ a new psychological thriller set to release early next year.

Thriller fans should be excited to see the new film, the project was directed by Gore Verbinski, the same director that brought ‘The Ring’ to big-screen back in 2002. The screenplay was written by Justin Haythe, based on a story written by both Haythe and Verbinski.

In the film an ambitious young executive is sent to retrieve his company’s CEO from an idyllic but mysterious “wellness center” at a remote location in the Swiss Alps. He soon suspects that the spa’s miraculous treatments are not what they seem.

The story picks up when he begins to unravel its terrifying secrets, and soon his sanity is tested. At the treatment center he finds himself diagnosed with the same curious illness that keeps all the guests there, and he is searching for the cure. Fans of the genre can watch the official trailer below, thanks to a late night upload from the studio.

The film stars Dane DeHaan, Jason Isaacs and Mia Goth, and was produced by Arnon Milchan, Gore Verbinski and David Crockett.

If you would like to set a reminder to catch the film in theaters, ‘A Cure for Wellness’ will release domestically on February 17, 2017.
