Netflix debuts ‘Black Mirror’ season 3 trailer

Fans of “Black Mirror” should be happy to see a new trailer the for sci-fi hit being released onto the internet this week. Netflix released a new trailer for the third-season, which will premiere later this month on the popular streaming service. You can watch the new trailer below, of course it is as disturbing as you might assume a trailer for Black Mirror season 3 would be.

Netflix describes “Black Mirror” as an anthology series that, “taps into our collective unease with the modern world, with each stand-alone episode a sharp, suspenseful tale exploring themes of contemporary techno-paranoia.” The series is created and written by Charlie Brooker, and executive produced by Brooker and Annabel Jones. It has become a huge hit for Netflix, which renewed the series for a third season late last year. With the popularity of the show continuing to rise, fans of the anthology series should see a few more episodes after this year’s season finale.

Black Mirror’s third season has six episodes, and Netflix was kind enough to give some updates on what they will contain. We know that San Junipero features Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Mackenzie Davis in an episode directed by Owen Harris. The episode Shut Up and Dance features Jerome Flynn and Alex Lawther in an episode directed by James Watkins. After that fans can watch Nosedive, which features Bryce Dallas Howard, Alice Eve and James Norton. That episode was directed by Joe Wright.

Later on there will be Men Against Fire starring Michael Kelly, Malachi Kirby and Madeline Brewer. Jakob Verbruggen directed that particular episode. The episode Hated in the Nation features Kelly MacDonald in an episode directed by James Hawes. Finally, the series will have an episode with and Wyatt Russell and Hannah John-Kamen, that episode will be called Playtest and was directed by Dan Trachtenberg. You can watch the teaser below.
