While it may be a little sad to know that Hugh Jackman will be hanging up his iconic Wolverine claws after this last installment, fans will get one more movie out of the deal.
Earlier today Jackman revealed the title of the next Wolverine film, which will simply be called ‘Logan’. Jackman took to Twitter to make the announcement, sharing a picture of the film’s poster on social-media. This will be the third standalone Wolverine film that Jackman has starred in as the title character, the two previous installments were the 2009 film ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine,’ and the 2013 hit ‘The Wolverine’.
James Mangold will be directing this film, working off a script written by Michael Green and David James Kelly. The film will star Boyd Holbrook, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart and Doris Morgado. Fans should remember that Mangold also directed Jackman in ‘The Wolverine’ three years ago.
If you happen to be in NYC then you can head down to Bleecker and Lafayette to see the gigantic poster for yourself. If not, you can see the picture below.
