Disney’s summer blockbuster ‘Finding Dory’ will be hitting home this November. with the digital release getting an early release. Disney and Pixar confirmed the release date for the popular sequel this week, releasing the Digital HD version on October 25th and the Blu-ray version on November 15, 2016. The film, which is already available on pre-order on sites like Amazon.com, will bring a few extras and behind-the-scene magic along for the ride.

“Finding Dory” will also hit Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA) on October 25, 2016, and the Blu-ray 3D version will release the same-day as the standard Blu-ray and DVD versions.

In the film Dory and crew set off on a wonderful and heartwarming adventure to find her family. The film of course is a follow-up to the popular animated feature “Finding Nemo”. The home-version will also come with “Piper,” the theatrical short film starring the lovable sandpiper hatchling.

There will also be an all-new mini short including in the release, featuring interviews with Dory’s pals from the Marine Life Institute. Fans can catch a loot behind-the-scenes at the most challenging character Pixar has ever created; and there are never-before-seen deleted scenes as well. This includes a digital exclusive featuring the Tank Gang from “Finding Nemo,” who make it their mission to get Marlin and Nemo to the Marine Life Institute.

Disney also teased the release with a few “easter eggs” that were hidden away in the film, some you may have missed.

Disney fans can pre-order the digital or the physical version of the film on authorized retailers. Finding Dory was directed by Andrew Stanton and Angus MacLane, working off a screenplay written by Andrew Stanton – who also wrote the original story. Among the many, many stars of the film are Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell and of course Ed O’Neill.
