Bella Thorne is using her social-media to set the record straight with her fans. The popular star of “Scream Queens,” “Amityville: The Awakening” and “The Duff” confirmed her bisexuality on Twitter.
Throne did so after fans and followers began asking her questions about a previous picture the star shared on Snapchat. Thorne of course reached stardom through several major projects including “Shake It Up,” and “My Own Worst Enemy”.
The picture in question features Thorne and another woman kissing, the picture was shared just a few days after Thorne and her former boyfriend, Gregg Sulkin, called it quits. One fan simply asked Thorne if she was bisexual, the starlet simply answered “Yes,” to the question, putting any speculation to rest right away.
Thorne did not identify the woman she was with in the photo. Other outlets think that the woman could be Bella Pendergast, a friend of Thorne’s that has appeared in previous pictures with the star and her brother. While showing solidarity with the LGTB community is always a positive step, it’s important to point out that it’s not really appropriate to ask, or demand that, stars share their sexuality with fans. Thorne reacted positively to the question, and has always seemed more than happy to share her daily life and some behind-the-scenes work with her many, many fans.
It’s been a whirlwind of romance for Thorne, who has recently started taking on several projects at a time. The beautiful former Disney star broke up with Gregg Sulkin just last week, the two had been dating for about a year. Following Thorne’s statement, many fans reached out to the star to show their support. Thorne highlighted a few of her fan’s more positive responses and Tweeted, ““Aww thank you for all the accepting tweets from everyone.” Thorne then added, “I love you guys ❤️❤️❤️ #pride.”
Bella Thorne will also star in the upcoming Freeform series “Famous in Love,” which has already entered into production.
