The tumultuous battle between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard has come to an end, with both parties releasing a joint statement after finalizing their terms. This comes just one-day before the duo were expected to enter into court.

Earlier today the AP officially reported that Depp and Heard had reached a settlement, as part of the deal Heard also withdrew all of her allegations of physical abuse against Depp. Those allegations were brought on just as the divorce haD gotten underway, Heard even received a restraining order against Depp after the two split.

In the joint statement that was released by the couple, the two talked about their relationship and ABOUT moving forward. The statement reads, “Our relationship was intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love.” The statement continued, “Neither party has made false accusations for financial gain. There was never any intent of physical or emotional harm.”

It was back in May that Heard first filed for divorce from Depp. It was soon after that Heard received the temporary restraining barring Depp from approaching or contacting her. In the proceedings leading up to the restraining order, Head accused Depp of hitting her during a fight. The news of the abuse came just before Depp’s film “Alice in Wonderland 2” hit the theaters. Depp has always denied the abuse claims, the police investigated the report and found no evidence of any crime. Depp was never officially charged.
