Fans can get the installment on the book’s release night (Sunday, July 31) between midnight and 2:00am.
Amazon confirmed that Prime Now customers “can start casting spells to pre-order for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at 9:45pm local time on July 30th,” and reminded customers that orders must be placed prior to 11:30pm on July 30th. We should also mention that release night delivery slots from 12:00am-2:00am on July 31st are limited. Prime members can place their pre-orders at Amazon.com.
Prime now is offered in more than 25 metropolitan areas in the U.S., you can checkout if it’s available in your area by checking out the official site on primenow.amazon.com.
Of course if you don’t want to be waiting by the door from midnight to 2am, or if it’s not available in your area, you can still pre-order the book and get it on release date through the regular Amazon store here
The eighth installment to the Harry Potter franchise is an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. The story is the same as the new play by Jack Thorne. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage and has already won over critics in the U.K. as it prepares for a global launch. The play will receive its world premiere in London’s West End on July 30, 2016, so be prepared for Harry Potter mania to set back into our culture. Don’t forget to set your Remembrall for the event.
