It’s been a busy month for television executives. Each of the major networks have been setting their Fall 2016-17 premiere schedule, with CBS the latest to confirm their lineup for the year. NFL fans should be happy to see the return of “Thursday Night Football,” which will return to the network starting on September 15, 2016. Coming to the network this year is “Case Closed,” which is a six-hour limited event docu-thriller following the JonBenét Ramsey case.

CBS’ major hit “The Big Bang Theory,” will be the lead-in for the premiere of “Kevin Can Wait” at 8:30 PM, those shows will premiere on Monday, Sept. 19, 2016. Another new Drama coming to CBS this year is “Bull,” that show will joins “NCIS” and “NCIS: New Orleans” when they premiere on Tuesday, September 20, 2016.

As previously announced, the new “MacGyver” series is coming to CBS this fall. That show is set to debut on Friday, September 23, at 8:00 PM, followed by the season premieres of “Hawaii Five-0” and “Blue Bloods.” You also may want to make a reminder, on Monday, October 24, “Kevin Can Wait” will move to to the 8:00 PM timeslot to act as a lead-in for the series premiere of “Man With a Plan.”

Later into the fall, CBS’s Thursday Night Lineup Returns Oct. 27 With “The Big Bang Theory” at 8:00 PM, New Comedy “The Great Indoors” at 8:30 PM, “Mom” at 9:00 PM, “Life in Pieces” at 9:30 PM and New Medical Drama “Pure Genius” at 10:00 PM.7.
