Tim Burton’s Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children gets another trailer
FOX has released a new trailer for the upcoming summer adaptation of “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children,” which is scheduled to release this September.
The film, which was directed by Tim Burton, is based upon the best-selling novel of the same name.
In the film Jake discovers new clues to a mystery that spans alternate realities and times. He then uncovers a secret refuge known as Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, which is where most of the story takes place. As he learns about the residents and their unusual abilities, Jake realizes that safety is an illusion, and danger lurks in the form of powerful, hidden enemies. Jake must figure out who is real, who can be trusted, and who he really is.
The fantasy-adventure seems like a perfect fit for Burton, the film was produced by Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping. This adaptation was written by Jane Goldman, and stars a fantastic cast of both popular actors and newcomers alike. Starring in the film are Eva Green, Asa Butterfield, Chris O’Dowd, Ella Purnell, Allison Janney and Rupert Everett. They are joined by Terence Stamp, with Judi Dench and Samuel L. Fans of Burton, or the original novel, can see the film when it hits theaters on September 30, 2016.
