The self-sabotaging life of BoJack Horseman will return to Netflix this summer, the video-streaming service confirmed the season 3 premiere date earlier today. Fans can catch BoJack Horseman season 3 starting on July 22, 2016.

In the popular animated series, Will Arnett voices BoJack. The character is a failed legendary 90’s sitcom star from the favorite family sitcom Horsin’ Around. Since his fall from grace, the former star has been trying to find his way through a muddle of self-loathing, whisky and failed relationships.

Now, in the presence of his human sidekick Todd (Aaron Paul) and his feline agent and ex-paramour Princess Carolyn (Amy Sedaris), BoJack is primed for his comeback. The last we saw BoJack things were pretty bleak, with his film biopic about Secretariat going bust. The season ended with a perfect amount of anguish, offering just enough hope to lead us to think that maybe BoJack might be able to finally pull himself together in the next season.

The animated series has been a steady success for Netflix, if you haven’t given the show a try it’s worth delving into a few episodes before calling it quits. The show really finds a groove in the second season, and the returning characters like Mr. Peanutbutter and the children pretending to be a businessman are just hilarious.
