Megyn Kelly uses Trump interview to plug her new book Settle For More
With the spotlight firmly fixed on Megyn Kelly and Donald Trump, the popular journalist used the exposure to reveal the cover and title of her new book.
The new memoir has reportedly been in the works for quite some time now, and later this year fans will be able to get their hands on it. Just as her Tuesday night primetime special was closing, Kelly stated that her moments with Donald Trump would also be included within its pages.
Kelly didn’t stop there, she also Tweeted images of the book’s cover on Twitter, along with a firm release date. This marked the first television feature for Kelly though FOX, she also spoke with Michael Douglas, Laverne Cox and former O.J. Simpson defense lawyer Robert Shapiro.
If you are planning on picking up a copy, the book is called Settle For More and it will publish on November 15, 2016. Kelly made the announcement stating, “Here is the cover of my book #SettleForMore”
HarperCollins, the book’s publisher, released a statement as well on behalf of Kelly:
“Settle for More has been my life motto, ever since I was an unhappy lawyer looking to change my life years ago. I caught Dr. Phil on TV one day, who said the only difference between you and someone you envy is that you settled for less. I thought to myself: settle for more. My book delves into how I put that into action, breaking into news and finding true love — with some tears and a lot of laughs along the way, and of course, my year in the crosshairs of Donald Trump.”
While Kelly had been reportedly working on the book beforehand, it was Kelly’s interaction with Trump during the Republican debate that got publishers interested in owning the rights. It was reported that Kelly received a $5M advance on the project, the book is expected to dominate the charts upon its release.
Settle for More is already available to pre-order on sites like Amazon.com.
