A new Adele music video will air during Billboard Music Awards

A new Adele music video is coming, it will be for her new single “Send My Love (To Your New Lover),” off her latest album “25.” The new Adele music video will make its worldwide debut during the “2016 Billboard Music Awards” this year.

The video for the song, which was co-written with and produced by Max Martin & Shellback, was shot in London and directed by Patrick Daughters (Feist, Muse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs). The “2016 Billboard Music Awards” will be hosted by Ludacris and Ciara, and will broadcast LIVE from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 22, at 8:00 p.m. EDT / 5:00 p.m. PDT on ABC.

Adele is currently in the midst of a sold out tour in Europe, which runs through June 15th.  As previously announced, Adele will headline this years Glastonbury Festival in the UK, from June 22-26. Adele kicks off a sold-out tour of North America on July 5th in Minneapolis, MN.

The “2016 Billboard Music Awards” are set to return to ABC and will be broadcast live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 22 at 8:00pm EDT / 5:00pm PDT. The show will showcase this year’s hottest and biggest music stars. 

Billboard Music Awards finalists are based on key fan interactions with music, including album and digital songs sales, radio airplay, streaming, touring and social engagement. These measurements are tracked year-round by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound. The awards are based on the reporting period of March 23, 2015 through March 17, 2016. The “2016 Billboard Music Awards” is produced by dick clark productions. Allen Shapiro, Mike Mahan, Mark Bracco, Barry Adelman and Robert Deaton are Executive Producers.

Fans of Adele will want to catch the show, though it will probably be on YouTube just moments after the big premiere. Adele’s latest music video, “Hello,” has been a popular release with over 1.5B views. You can watch all of Adele’s videos on her official Vimeo/YouTube channel.
