Fallout 4 “Far Harbor” expansion gets a trailer, release date
Bethesda Softworks has released the first trailer for “Far Harbor,” the first major expansion to the popular open-world RPG “Fallout 4”. The studio also set a release date for Far Harbor, which will release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on Thursday, May 19, 2016.
In Far Harbor, a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world.
Players will have to navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. The studio teases the expansion with the question, “Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost? ”
According to the announcement, Far Harbor features the largest landmass for an add-on that Bethesda Game Studios has ever created. The new DLC will give players new faction quests, new settlements, new creatures to battle and new places to explore.
There will also be higher-level armor and weapons to collect and craft, along with new choices to make that will shape the world around you.
