The MTV Movie Awards 2016 Winners list

MTV Movie Awards 2016MTV Movie Awards 2016

It was another brilliant affair for the MTV Movie Awards, once again filled with dozens of artists, actors, models and celebrities. This year the popular awards show held its event on the Warner Bros. lot in California, adding a bit of authenticity and nostalgia to the ceremony.

Hosting the event this year was Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, the duo are starring in the upcoming movie “Central Intelligence” together. That film will release in June.

The show itself will air on Sunday at 8pm on MTV. If you can’t wait to know the winners, mostly because every social-media feed will spoil the results anyway, we’ve collected the nominees and winners for you below.

This marked the 25th annual MTV Movie Awards, with Will Smith winning the Generation Award and Melissa McCarthy winning the Comedic Genius Award. “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and “Dead Pool” were the big winners of the night, but as usual there were plenty other of awards for your favorite celeb to win. Odds are if a popular actor didn’t win in one category, they were nominated in a few others.
