Taylor Swift ruled the iHeartRadio Music Awards
This weekend fans and artists converged at The Forum arena in Los Angeles to celebrate the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards. This year’s event was hosted by Jason Derulo, and like the events preceding it, was simulcast on iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide and was available on the iHeartRadio digital music platform.
Taylor Swift took home several of the top awards this year, including ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Best Tour,’ both stemming from her chart-topping studio album ‘1989’.
Swift thanked her current boyfriend, fellow musician Calvin Harris, in her acceptance speech. Swift told the crowd, “For the first time, I had the most amazing person to come home to when the spotlight went out and when the crowds were all gone, so I want to thank my boyfriend, Adam, for that.”
Swift also won the award for’Female Artist of the Year,’ but her BF also won an award last night. Calvin Harris was chosen as the 2016 ‘Dance Artist of the Year’ winner.
There were some stellar performances from the night as well including Justin Bieber, former One Directioner ZAYN, Meghan Trainor, Demi Lovato and even host Jason Derulo. You can checkout the official winners below.
