Following her domination of all things pop-culture, Beyonce is the latest star of stage and screen to launch a new fitness and activewear brand. Following popular brands like Fabletics and Cory Vines, the line will cater to the active fashionista, mixing style and performance in bold, new looks.
Called “Ivy Park,” the new collection will be available in-store and online later this year. Beyonce even released a new teaser for the brand earlier this morning, in which she stands front and center. Of course if you happen to have Beyonce as a founder, you would be crazy not to use her image and charisma at every opportunity.
As a co-founder of Ivy Park, you can bet that Beyonce will be heavily involved in the rollout of the new line, which should begin later this month. The star released the first-look trailer earlier this morning (Thursday) and the video is trending on several social-media sites.
According to this morning’s announcements, the clothing line will be made available in stores like TopShop, Nordstrom and Zalando starting on April 14, more stores are expected to be announced over the next few weeks.
While the official website is mostly pictures and a few tracks for fans to enjoy, the description for the brand reads, “Ivy Park is merging fashion-led design with technical innovation. Creating a new kind of performance wear: modern essentials for both on and off the field.” The tag-line simply states, “Strong Beyond Measure,” via Ivy Park.
