“Now You See Me 2” trailer, the Four Horsemen return
Lionsgate released a trailer for the summer sequel “Now You See Me 2,” starring Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Lizzy Caplan and Mark Ruffalo.
The new installment will be directed by Jon M. Chu, the first film was directed by Louis Leterrier. Joining the aforementioned cast will be Dave Franco, Daniel Radcliffe, Jay Chou, Sanaa Lathan, David Warshofsky, Tsai Chin, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman.
Ed Solomon returns to write the screenplay for the film, which is based on the original story that Solomon created with Peter Chiarelli. The franchise is based on the characters created by Boaz Yakin and Edward Ricourt.
In the new film The Four Horsemen, which consists of Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco and Lizzy Caplan, all return for a second adventure. Their new antics aim to elevate the limits of stage illusion, while their new found fame takes them around the globe.
One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their Robin Hood-style magic spectacles, the illusionists resurface for a comeback performance in hopes of exposing the unethical practices of a tech magnate. The man behind their vanishing act is none other than WALTER MABRY [Daniel Radcliffe], a tech prodigy who threatens the Horsemen into pulling off their most impossible heist yet. Their only hope is to perform one last unprecedented stunt to clear their names and reveal the mastermind behind it all.
Fans of magic and/or fans of thrillers can see the movie at their local theaters starting on June 10, 2016.
