Pretty Little Liars season 7 adds Andrea Parker as series regular

Last night fans of “Pretty Little Liars” were shocked by the final reveal during the Pretty Little Liars season 6 spring finale. In the wake of the epic closing moments, Freeform has confirmed that Andrea Parker will return to “Pretty Little Liars” as a series regular. This means that fans can expect a lot more Mary Drake in the upcoming seventh season, when the show returns to Freeform.

Parker will return to “Pretty Little Liars” as Mary Drake, the biological mother of Charlotte DiLaurentis and the identical twin to Parker’s deceased character Jessica DiLaurentis. In addition to the shocking #TwinOnPLL secret, it was revealed in last night’s spring finale that Drake has been working hand-in-hand with Dr. Elliott Rollins, the husband of Alison DiLaurentis.

Fans should remember that Parker’s original character in the series (Mrs. DiLaurentis) was killed off season 4. Before that, Alison’s mom had moments in each of the first three seasons. Parker reprised the roll in flashbacks in both season 4 and season 5, but her appearance in season 6 was a gigantic shock to the #PLL fans on Twitter and Facebook.

The airdate for the seventh season of “Pretty Little Liars” has not been announced at this time, but we will keep you updated.
