Former First Lady Nancy Reagan dies at the age of 94
It was confirmed today that former First Lady Nancy Reagan has died. The news was announced via a spokeswoman to the First Lady earlier this morning. Nancy Reagan was 94.
According to initial reports, the cause of death is being contributed to congestive heart failure, this according to the same representative; Joanne Drake. “Mrs. Reagan will be buried at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California, next to her husband, Ronald Wilson Reagan, who died on June 5, 2004,” Drake wrote in a statement that was released earlier this morning. “Prior to the funeral service, there will be an opportunity for members of the public to pay their respects at the Library,” the statement concluded.
Mrs. Reagan first met President Ronald Reagan when she was an actress. President Ronald Reagan was also an actor at the time of their meeting, he soon became president of the Screen Actors Guild at the time. Ronald Reagan passed away at the age of 94, back in 2004. Nancy Reagan was born in New York City in 1921.
