Super Bowl trailers: 10 Cloverfield Lane offers a better look at cast
The first “10 Cloverfield Lane” trailer was a little confusing, but the new trailer released during the Suer Bowl offers a bit more clarity on the situation.
Captives, giant monsters and impending doom all make an impression during the new trailer. The film isn’t set to hit theaters until March 11, 2016 but thriller-fans can get an early look thanks to the newly released “Big Game” trailer.
Directing the long-awaited follow-up is Dan Trachtenberg, starring in the film are Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Goodman and John Gallagher Jr.
The new film is produced through J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot. When the first trailer was released earlier this year, Abrams called the film a “blood relative” to Cloverfield. While it may not be a direct sequel to the original film, it will still exist in the same universe as the original installment.
In the trailer Mary Elizabeth Winstead and John Gallagher Jr. are both being held captive by John Goodman. This was shown in the first trailer as well, but a little more context was given this time around. Just like the original trailer, the scene ends with tease.
