It looks like the rumors were true after all, Beyonce will be performing at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show. The news was confirmed after Pepsi verified the reports with the Associated Press.

At just 34 years-old, this will be the second time that Beyonce has performed for the event. It was announced late last year that Coldplay will be the headliner, the Super Bowl will be held on February 7, 2016 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Fans might remember Beyonce’s last hit-performance at a Super Bowl, the songstress headlined the 2013 Pepsi Super Bowl halftime show, which was held in New Orleans at the time. It was a pretty epic-night for her fans, as Beyonce was joined mid-performance by by her former Destiny Child’s bandmates, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

It’s not a total surprise that Beyonce and Coldplay will be taking the stage together, the duo have recently collaborated on a new single. With both artists taking the stage, it’s a pretty safe bet that they will perform their new hit “A Head Full of Dreams”.

Last year the world watched as Katy Perry roared onto the main-stage at Super Bowl 49. Perry currently holds the title of “most-watched halftime show” in the history of the game, which clocked in at over 118 million viewers.

While Katy Perry grabbed all of the attention at the arena, it was her dancing “Left-Shark” that had the internet’s attention for the better part of the following month. This being the 50th Super Bowl, the NFL has been promoting the upcoming game with Gold 50 yard-line markers on the fields, a few specials and a look-back at the history of the Super Bowl are all planned to take place on CBS leading up to the game.

More information on those specials and of course, who will be playing in the Super Bowl this year, will be announced over the next few weeks.
