Britney Spears, Kate Hudson among latest guests added for People’s Choice Awards

Each year the “People’s Choice Awards” manages to collect a long-list of A-list stars to attend the event, and it looks like this year’s ceremony won’t be any different. CBS confirmed over a dozen new stars that will be attending the event. These stars stretch across TV, film, fashion, music and social-media performers. The entire list of those in attendance will be disclosed as we move closer to the official premiere of the event, which is currently set to take place in early January.

Added to the list today by CBS and the People’s Choice Awards were Abigail Spencer, Adam Devine, Amber Valletta, Betsy Brandt, Britney Spears, Cheyenne Jackson, Chris D’Elia and Christina Milian. They were part of a gigantic list that also included, Clark Gregg, Colin Hanks, Connor Franta, Dakota Johnson, Ed Westwick, Gina Rodriguez, Jack Black, John Stamos, Josh Holloway, Kate Hudson, Kunal Nayyar, Lea Michele, Maddie Ziegler, Marcia Gay Harden, Mayim Bialik, Meagan Good and Meghan Trainor.

Also attending this year is Melissa Benoist, Melissa Rauch, Mike Epps, Ming-Na Wen, Nia Long, Natalie Dormer, Priyanka Chopra, Raza Jaffrey, Taylor Kinney, Vin Diesel and the Pink Ladies of “Grease: Live” (Carly Rae Jepsen, Julianne Hough, Keke Palmer, Kether Donohue and Vanessa Hudgens).

This year the PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS 2016 will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

They join Shawn Mendes and Jason Derulo who were previously announced as performers at the 2016 show, and host Jane Lynch, who stars in the upcoming CBS comedy ANGEL FROM HELL. The People’s Choice Awards are the only major awards show where fans determine the nominees and winners across categories of movies, music, television and digital.

More information on performances, duets and other fantastic events that will take-place during the show will be announced as we get closer to January 6, 2016.
