Sony Pictures is backing teasing the new “Ghostbusters” film. The studio released the first picture of the cast, as well as a few posters showcasing each of team members.

It’s been thirty years since the original film took over NYC and introduced us to the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Now the Ghostbusters are back and fully rebooted for a new generation to enjoy.

Director Paul Feig combines all the paranormal fighting elements that made the original franchise so beloved with a cast of new characters, played by the funniest actors working today. The action-comedy is set to release in theaters on July 15, 2016.

Feig is directing the film, which he wrote with Katie Dippold. The original “Ghostbusters” film was written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, it was directed by Ivan Reitman.

Paul Feig, Jessie Henderson, Dan Aykroyd, Tom Pollock, Joe Medjuck, Ali Bell and Ben Waisbren served as executive producers.

Starring as the Ghostbusters are Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Joining them on-screen are Charles Dance, Michael Kenneth Williams and Chris Hemsworth.
