Brace yourselves, season 6 is coming and the marketing force behind the returning series will leave no one behind. HBO has already begun the network’s marketing campaign for “Game of Thrones” season 6, starting things off with a Jon Snow teaser.
The promo released today was released on Twitter earlier today, HBO released the image to get fans excited for the early return on the series. In the first promo for the new season, fans were introduced to a very bloody Jon Snow, who fans are still hoping returns in a big way in the next season despite what happened to him at the end of season five.
The image’s release is sure to reignite the year-long debate about Jon Snow, mainly if Snow is alive in some shape (or form) or if he is gone for good.
Many fans (myself included) are still grasping at the idea that Snow will return to the series and somehow shake the icy-grip of death from the Wall. The author of “A Song of Ice and Fire” himself, author George R.R. Martin, has been teasing the idea that Snow could return in season 6. Snow wouldn’t be the first character to come back to life in the new season, in fact, coming back from the dead should play a very big role in season 6 with, or without Jon Snow.

HBO stopped short of giving us the exact date that Game of Thrones season 6 will premiere but at least we know that it will happen in April at this point. The new season will air on HBO and HBO Go in 2016, so fans only need to set a reminder and get through the next four months of promos before the big day finally arrives. That’s sixteen-weeks of arguing your point that Snow is alive or dead, which Kings may return and which Ice-Walkers will make their debut, so stay warm.
