Dirty Grampa red-band trailer: De Niro, Plaza and Zac Effron make three
Lionsgate released a new red band trailer for “Dirty Grandpa,” the upcoming adult comedy starring De Niro and Zac Effron.
The comedy masterminds that brought hits like Borat, Ali G and Bad Santa 2 to the screen are releasing a new film this year called “Dirty Grandpa.” In the film Jason Kelly [Zac Efron] is one week away from marrying his boss’s uber-controlling daughter, putting him on the fast track for a partnership at the law firm. However, when the straight-laced Jason is tricked into driving his foul-mouthed grandfather, Dick [Robert De Niro], to Daytona for spring break, his pending nuptials are suddenly in jeopardy.
Between riotous frat parties, bar fights, and an epic night of karaoke, Dick is on a quest to live his life to the fullest and bring Jason along for the ride. Ultimately, on the wildest journey of their lives, “dirty” Grandpa and his uptight grandson discover they can learn from one another and form the bond they never had. Jason Mantzoukas, Danny Glover, Julianne Hough, Dermot Mulroney and Adam Pally also co-star in the film. The film was directed by Dan Mazer, working off a script written by John Phillips. Barry Josephson, Bill Block, Michael Simkin and Jason Barrett produced the film, which will hit theaters in January 2016.
