Fallout 4 launch trailer echoes a somber Commonwealth
If you are counting down the days before the worldwide release of “Fallout 4” then the new “Fallout 4 Launch Trailer” should make your Thursday a little more enjoyable. Bethesda released the official launch trailer for the highly anticipated new title earlier today, the same day the company released the new iOS and Android companion apps.
The trailer shows off a few locations included in “The Commonwealth” the new open-world that players will explore with locations including Quincy, Boston and Braintree popping up throughout the story. Bethesda Game Studios and the creators of “Fallout 3” and “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” will release “Fallout 4” on Xbox One, PS4 and PC later this month.
In the game players will explore the world as the sole survivor of Vault 111. A world destroyed by nuclear war. Bethesda states that, “Every second is a fight for survival, and every choice is yours. Only you can rebuild and determine the fate of the Wasteland.” The publishers simply adds, “Welcome home.”
The game will feature hundreds of locations, characters, and quests. There are also multiple factions that players will have the choice to engage with and join. The S.P.E.C.I.A.L. character system, Power Armor and a new next generation graphics and lighting engine will also bring the game to life when it is released.
The game will also feature an extremely vast crafting system. Players will be able to scavenge, collect, upgrade, and build thousands of items and fortresses in the game. Players can manage entire settlements, recruit NPCs, add companions and do more than any previous Fallout game ever offered. You can checkout the official launch trailer for the game below.
Fallout 4 will be available worldwide on Tuesday, November 10th. Eager players can pre-order Fallout 4 to be set for release day and pick-up the physical Vault-Tec Perk Poster from Amazon. Which is just more fully colorized retro fun for the, “ultimate Wasteland survivor.” There is also the “Fallout 4 Vault Dweller’s Survival Guide Collector’s Edition: Prima Official Game Guide” to consider.
