Syfy will host a James Bond marathon Thanksgiving weekend
If you are still awake after stuffing yourself with turkey and pie, you will want to checkout the James Bond marathon that Syfy will be cooking-up all holiday weekend. The network confirmed today that it will host a Thanksgiving weekend, three-day James Bond Marathon. The event will be featuring eight films starring Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig.
The 007-fest kicks off at 6:30AM (ET/PT) on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, with the first Bond movie, Dr. No, starring Sean Connery, followed by all four of Pierce Brosnan’s films: GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough and Die Another Day.
For those viewers still on the couch in a tryptophan semi-coma, Bond continues Friday, November 27 with Daniel Craig in Casino Royale at 4PM (ET/PT) and Skyfall at 7PM (ET/PT).
The Marathon ends Saturday, November 28 with Quantum of Solace, Daniel Craig’s second Bond movie, at 1PM (ET/PT). All of this coincides of course with the latest Bond movie to hit theaters, which is releasing here in U.S. on November 6, 2015. The film is called “SPECTRE” and it will feature Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz and Léa Seydoux.
In the film a cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE. The film was directed by Sam Mendes.
