Final Star Wars The Force Awakens trailer released, watch it now
Over the weekend Disney teased fans with a few short clips taken from the final “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” trailer, promising that the finished trailer would appear during tonight’s NFL game. Just as promised, the trailer is now available online and it’s easily one of the best in the franchise (trailer wise).
Lucas film premiered the trailer during Monday Night football, the perfect opportunity for Disney to catch a few million captive Star Wars fans, the trailer was then released online via YouTube on Star Wars’ official Youtube page.
The first installment to the new trilogy will be directed by J.J. Abrams, working from from a screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Abrams himself. The new cast-members that will joining the franchise are John Bodega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis and Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o. Also joining the case on-screen are Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Andersen, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydeow.
These popular new stars will be joining the original stars of the saga that millions of fans fell in love with growing-up. Those original actors include Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.
The film is being produced by Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Bryan Burk, and John Williams returns as the composer. Episode VII in the Star Wars Saga, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, opens in theaters December 18, 2015, you can try and get your tickets online starting today, or campout in front of your local cinema like the generations that came before you.
We should warn you if you are planning to buy tickets online tonight (we posted the links you should use for Fandango) ticket sales have been shutting down websites and ticket-agencies all across the globe throughout the day.
When tickets opened in the U.K., the sites lasted only a few minutes before becoming overloaded, the same results are expected to happen here in the United States. So check often and check early, you are only a few weeks away from seeing a new Star Wars film hit the big-screen.
