Pixar’s new The Good Dinosaur trailer reminds us that Pixar makes us cry

It’s a good thing that movie-theaters are dark because if we are going to watch Disney-Pixar’s next film on the big-screen, we won’t be able to hold back our emotions. A new trailer for “The Good Dinosaur” hit the web today, and although it has some adorable scenes, you might not be laughing all the way through it.

The next Disney-Pixar installment is called “The Good Dinosaur” and despite its colorful world and bubbly characters, it has a few traditional Pixar-inducing moments. THE GOOD DINOSAUR is set to open in theaters later this November but Disney released a new trailer for the film on ABC this morning to get fans excited for the big release.

“The Good Dinosaur” asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.

The animated film was directed by Peter Sohn, working off a screenplay written by Meg LeFauve. “The Good Dinosaur” offers the voice talents of Raymond Ochoa, Jeffrey Wright and Steve Zahn as well as Anna Paquin and Frances McDormand.

The film will open in theaters on November 25, 2015,
