The Big Short trailer has Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt against the banks
Paramount Pictures released the first trailer for “The Big Short” this morning. The film is based on the true story and best-selling book by Michael Lewis (The Blind Side, Moneyball), and directed by Adam Mckay (Anchorman, Step Brothers) The Big Short stars Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt.
The story picks up when four outsiders saw what the big banks, media and government refused to, the global collapse of the economy, they had an idea: The Big Short. Their bold investment leads them into the dark underbelly of modern banking where they must question everyone and everything.
Executive Producers for the film are Louise Rosner-Meyer and Kevin Messick, the film was produced By Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner and Arnon Milchan. While the film was based on the book written by Michael Lewis, the screenplay was written by Charles Randolph and Adam McKay.
The film was also directed By Adam McKay. “The Big Short” will hit theaters in a limited release on December 11, 2015 before going national on December 23, 2015.
