You can never have too much Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan, the lovable duo that makeup “LIVE with Kelly and Michael.” The two stars are headed to “Nashville” on ABC this month as guest stars.
The episode is called “’Til the Pain Outwears the Shame,” and the story will follow Juliette after she has a breakdown during an appearance on “Live with Kelly and Michael.” This of course causes Avery a lot of concern and things start to get dicey.
It’s when Juliette continues her pattern of irrational and volatile behavior that Avery struggles on his own. On the other side of the spectrum we will catch up with Rayna, who is determined to show the world that Highway 65 is not just a vanity project and devises a plan to sign Markus Keen (Riley Smith, “True Blood”), one of the biggest rock artists around.
The new “Nashville” episode will air on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on ABC. “’Til The Pain Outwears The Shame” was written by David Gould and directed by Jean de Segonzac.
“Nashville” stars Connie Britton as Rayna Jaymes, Hayden Panettiere as Juliette Barnes, Clare Bowen as Scarlett O’Connor, Chris Carmack as Will Lexington, Will Chase as Luke Wheeler, Charles Esten as Deacon Claybourne, Jonathan Jackson as Avery Barkley, Sam Palladio as Gunnar Scott, Maisy Stella as Daphne Conrad, Lennon Stella as Maddie Conrad and Aubrey Peeples as Layla Grant.
Guest starring are Kelly Ripa as herself, Michael Strahan as himself, Pam Tillis as herself, Oliver Hudson as Jeff Fordham; Ed Amatrudo as Glenn Goodman; David Alford as Bucky Dawes; Riley Smith as Markus Keen; Dana Wheeler-Nicholson as Beverly; Kyle Dean Massey as Kevin Bicks; Nick Jandl as Dr. Caleb Rand; Cynthia McWilliams as Gabriella Manning and David Burke as Dr. Sugrue.
