“Room” starring Brie Larson gets an official trailer and a release date
The film-adaption of Emma Donoghue’s best-selling novel “Room” will hit theaters this November. A24 confirmed that “Room” will first hit theaters in New York and Los Angeles on October 16th, the film will then open nationwide in theaters on November 6, 2015.
The film was directed by Lenny Abrahamson and stars Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay. Joining those two stars on-screen will be Joan Allen and William H. Macy. As we mentioned before the film is based on the popular novel by Emma Donoghue and if you haven’t picked it up yet you can do so before the film releases later this year. Both highly suspenseful and deeply emotional, ROOM is a unique and unexpectedly tender exploration of the boundless love between a mother and her child. After 5-year-old Jack and his Ma escape from the enclosed surroundings that Jack has known his entire life, the boy makes a thrilling discovery: the outside world. As he experiences all the joy, excitement, and fear that this new adventure brings, he holds tight to the one thing that matters most of all–his special bond with his loving and devoted Ma.

ROOM premiered to packed houses and standing ovations at the Telluride Film Festival this past weekend, and will next screen at the Toronto International Film Festival as a Special Presentation on Tuesday, September 15.
