Miss You Already trailer, Drew Barrymore and Toni Collette star in comedy-drama

One of the more popular films hitting TIFF 2015 this year is a comedy-drama and romance-feature starring Drew Barrymore and Toni Collette. The duo are joined by actor Dominic Cooper in the film, which is called “Miss You Already”. The film won’t release until later this year but you can get a terrific look at the upcoming story thanks to a trailer that was released earlier today.

The film is from Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions and was directed by Catherine Hardwicke, working off a script written by Morwenna Banks. The studio teases the film describing it as, “an honest and powerful story following two best friends”.

In the film Milly (Toni Collette) and Jess (Drew Barrymore), help each other navigate life’s highs and lows. Inseparable since they were young girls, they can’t remember a time they didn’t share everything -secrets, clothes, even boyfriends — but nothing prepares them for the day Milly is hit with life-altering news.

The studio calls the film, “A story for every modern woman,” stating that MISS YOU ALREADY “celebrates the bond of true friendship that ultimately can never be broken, even in life’s toughest moments.”

“Miss You Already” is a TIFF Selection in the World Premiere Category and will open in theaters November 6, 2015.
