Stephen Colbert’s schedule is filling up fast, the new Late Show host has confirmed another week of celebrity and musical guests that will be dropping by to promote their various series, movies and albums and you can checkout the listings below.
Stephen Colbert will make his official debut later next week, the show will air Monday through Friday at 11:35pm each night. According to today’s announcements viewers can tune-in to see a wide-array of guests during week-two of the show, with everyone from rockers to country legends mixing with stars of the screen and stage. Colbert previously announced the initial guests that will be hitting the show, starting with George Clooney and Scarlett Johansson.
On Monday, September 14 fans can catch Colbert with actress Emily Blunt and Justice Stephen Breyer. They will be joined by a musical performance from The Dead Weather.
The following night on Tuesday, September 15 fans can find actor Jake Gyllenhaal on the couch with Stephen. The show will also host a musical performance by Run The Jewels with TV On The Radio. On Wednesday, September 16 “House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey and TV legend Carol Burnett will hit the show. They will be joined by “Broad City” stars and comedians Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer. This will be a very special night for the show, not only will the all-star comedians and actors be dropping by but there will also be a musical performance and interview with country-legend Willie Nelson.
On Thursday, September 17 actress Naomi Watts will be joined by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon. Closing out the week on Friday, September 18 will be actress Lupita Nyong’o with Senator Bernie Sanders. There will also be an interview with and performance by “An American in Paris’” Christopher Wheeldon, Robert Fairchild and Leanne Cope.

Colbert, a multi-talented and respected host, writer, producer, satirist and comedian, is well-known for his previous late night show, “The Colbert Report,” which concluded in December 2014. The program received widespread critical acclaim and earned many accolades, including two Peabody Awards and 41 Emmy Award nominations, with two Emmy Award wins for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014.
