Keanu Reeves thriller “Knock Knock” to hit theaters and on-demand in October
We loved “Knock Knock” when it hit the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and soon you will be watch it online, or in theaters.
Lionsgate confirmed that the film will release in theaters and on demand on October 9, 2015 and there’s three main reasons you should set a reminder to catch it – Keanu Reeves, Lorenza Izzo and Ana de Armas.
When the film hit Sundance earlier this year I talked a lot about why the film did so well, mostly Lorenza Izzo and Ana de Armas’ hilarious and disturbing take on their characters, but with Eli Roth’s new project coming out in a few months, I wanted to add his name to the list of reasons to catch the film. “Knock Knock” is a terrific and suspenseful tale to get thriller fans ready for “The Green Inferno,” set to release later this year.
Joining Keanu Reeves, Lorenza Izzo, Ana de Armas on screen are Aaron Burns, Ignacia Allamand, and Colleen Camp. The film picks up when a devoted husband and father is left home alone for the weekend and two stranded young women unexpectedly knock on his door for help.
What starts out as a kind gesture results in a dangerous seduction and a deadly game of cat and mouse. Eli Roth directed the film, and wrote the script with Nicolás López & Guillermo Amoedo.
Keanu Reeves stars as the family man who falls into temptation and Lorenza Izzo and Ana de Armas as the seductresses who wreak havoc upon his life, “turning a married man’s dark fantasy into his worst nightmare” according to the official description.
