Fallout 4 has “2x the game assets” of Skyrim, art-book teases all of that hard work
Bethesda’s “Fallout 4” is one of the most highly-anticipated releases set to come out this year. The open-world RPG franchise is one of the most celebrated in its genre and everything that has been shown from the game so far has been met with excitement and praise from the gaming community.
While teasing the new art-book from Darkhorse Comics today the studio tweeted, “Our artists created 2x the game assets for Fallout 4 than Skyrim, get a taste in our art book.” Those hard-cover art books have been quite popular in the past, usually selling out just before the subject’s latest title is released to fans.
The latest release is called “The Art of Fallout 4” and it will release just before Christmas this year on December 22, 2015. By that time most of us will only be a third into the giant world of Fallout 4, and the art-book is expected be another popular collectable from the franchise.
The book publishers teased that the new book will feature, “never-before-seen designs and concept art from the game’s dynamic environments, iconic characters, detailed weapons, and more.” The publisher also added that the book will also include commentary from the developers themselves as well as images straight from the game.
There is also the “Fallout 4 Vault Dweller’s Survival Guide Collector’s Edition: Prima Official Game Guide” that we covered earlier this year, if you are looking for more collectable goodness.
As for “Fallout 4” the game, that will come with several collectables and in-game bonuses depending on which version you pre-order. In “Fallout 4” players will take on the role of the sole survivor of Vault 111. After leaving the vault you are on your own to explore a world destroyed by nuclear war.
The game is expected to contain hundreds of locations, characters, and quests. Players will have the chance to join multiple factions all vying for power, or screw them all over and just go it alone if they prefer.
