Chris Christie to appear on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon

Trailing in the polls, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will appear on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” in an apparent attempt to jumpstart his sluggish nation campaign for the presidency. Gov. Christie will have to find a pretty amazing skit in order to compete with Donald Trump, a man that seems to be monopolizing the headlines for the Republican party.

NBC confirmed that the Republican presidential candidate and current New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie, is scheduled to make his first late-night talk show appearance since announcing his 2016 run for president on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” Monday, Aug. 31 (11:35 p.m. ET).

This marks Christie’s third trip to the “Tonight Show” studio. During his June 12, 2014 visit, Christie and Fallon celebrated Father’s Day with a presentation of “The Evolution of Dad Dancing.” To date, the video has amassed more than 9 million YouTube views. You can checkout that video from the Tonight Show below, thanks to the upload via the official Tonight Show Youtube channel.

From Universal Television and Broadway Video, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” is executive produced by Lorne Michaels and produced by Josh Lieb. Gavin Purcell produces. “The Tonight Show” tapes before a live studio audience from Studio 6B in 30 Rockefeller Center.
