Maze Runner Scorch Trials teaches you about the Flare Virus in animated video

If you live in the world of “The Maze Runner,” then it’s important for the safety of everyone you love that you learn about “The Flare Virus” at an early age. That’s why the WCKD created this lovely animated film to teach you and those you love about the dangers of the deadly virus that may destroy all of your organs instantly.

The studio released the video below as a teaser for the big release of “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials,” the second installment of the popular YA franchise that is set to hit theaters next month.

In this next chapter of the epic “Maze Runner” saga, Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and his fellow Gladers face their greatest challenge yet: searching for clues about the mysterious and powerful organization known as WCKD. Their journey takes them to the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Teaming up with resistance fighters, the Gladers take on WCKD’s vastly superior forces and uncover its shocking plans for them all.

The film was directed by Wes Ball, working off a screenplay written by T.S. Nowlin. The films are based on the original novel “THE SCORCH TRIALS” written by James Dashner.

Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and Lee Stollman produced the film, which stars Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Giancarlo Esposito, Aidan Gillen, Ki Hong Lee, Barry Pepper, Lili Taylor, and Patricia Clarkson
